9th Grade Ryle 48 Cooper 21

The 9th grade gets back on the winning track.  Cooper came out quickly and scored on their first possession,  Ryle came back and Ryan Hill hit Tim Holestein for a 47 yard TD.  After that it was ALL Cooper until Ben Durnwald picked up a pass and ran it 90 yard for a touchdown making the score Cooper 21 Ryle 14.  WIth 1.3 seconds left in the second quarter Ryle got the ball back and they were 53 yards away from a TD.  It appeared that Cooper thought that Ryle was going to take a knee going into the half but Hill rolls to his left and again hit Holestein for a 53 yard bomb as time expired  and Ryle tied it up at the half.
In the 3rd qtr, Ryle came out on fire Austin Keen and Ryan Hill both made their way down the field as Keen scored.  The defense kept Cooper in check the rest of the night and the offensive line took over as Clay Ferguson, Lex Sowers Tom Deters and Chris Parschal man handled the Jaguaers
The team needed this win after suffering for 2 straight losses.  The next game will be at Highlands next Thursday.
