Motto

"BUILDING LEADERS THROUGH FOOTBALL!"
In football, all young men have a chance of success. In football, the more talented player is not always the best player. In football, with the correct attitude and work ethic, any young man can compete. In football, leaders are born and confidence is built. In football, attitudes can be adjusted and low self-esteem can be lifted. In football, all young men get a chance at success.

And the Legacy was started....Ryle 28 Highlands 26

In was seemed as a typical football day for Ryle changed early Thursday morning as the students got to school.  When school stated Thursday there was electricity in the air, just not in the outlets.  After sitting at school for a couple of hours the students were told that the electricity would not be on for a while and were allowed to go home.
The crowd started to gather at Borland stadium around 4:30, most people looking for great seats and others just trying to catch a glimpse of the Raiders warming up.  Tonight was Senior night, all of the seniors and their parents lined up one more time for their last and most memorable regular season football game of their lives. After the ceremony, the fathers and the athletes gathered into the locker room where each father talked to their son and the team.  Words like HONOR, LEGACY, RESPECT, ATTACK AND , "I won't let you down and I will not let my teammates down" were used in the speeches.  It was the beginning of something different.  When Ryle took the field on October 28, 2010, the football spirits looked down on this team and through hard work, determination and skill...the RAIDERS DEFEATED THE RESPECTED HIGHLANDS 28-26.
