Motto

"BUILDING LEADERS THROUGH FOOTBALL!"
In football, all young men have a chance of success. In football, the more talented player is not always the best player. In football, with the correct attitude and work ethic, any young man can compete. In football, leaders are born and confidence is built. In football, attitudes can be adjusted and low self-esteem can be lifted. In football, all young men get a chance at success.

RYLE 14, BOONE COUNTY 0

RYLE 14, BOONE COUNTY 0

By Dan Clasgens | Managing Editor

The Ryle Raiders moved to .500 on the season overall and inside district action in Class 6A with a 14-0 shutout win on the road versus the Boone County Rebels on Friday night.

Ryle (3-3, 1-1) running back Tanner Pulice punched in a TD on 5-yard run on the Raiders’ opening drive and it would prove to be all the points they would need in this contest as their defense stifled Boone County (1-6, 1-1) all night long. Pullice would finish the night with 126 yards on 33 carries.

The Raiders added a second touchdown when senior Nick Kennedy took a 75-yard punt return to the house in the second quarter. It would be the final points of the night as neither offense could dent the scoreboard after the break.

Ryle steps out of district action next week when they square off versus Conner on the road while Boone County makes the trip to Independence as they’ll look to bounce back against the Pioneers.
